SUSPENCE / COMIC RELIEF
SUSPENCE
The director of Psycho is Alfred Hitchcock. He was born on the 13th of August 1899 and died on the 29th of April 1980. The type of character that Alfred often uses in his horror films are brids, mothers, daughters and blond women. Acording to the wikipedia the technique he uses is " his style includes the use of camera movement to mimic a person's gaze, thereby turning viewers into voyeurs , and framing shots to maximise anxiety and fear."
COMIC RELIEF
The Comic Relief means a release of tension or tragedy. The comic uses a character that manages to make laugh because there is a release of the tension. Acording to wikipedia the comic relied is the inclusion of " humorous character, scene, or witty dialogue in an otherwise serious work often relieve tension." I don't remember laughing moment in horror films because I don't like it. The only one I saw is that lights out and the comic relief didn't appear.
